About
Founder, The Land Law Firm
Alexia Landesman has spent over a decade in New York City real estate law — and she started early. At eighteen, while still in high school, she was already working as a paralegal at a Brooklyn law firm, drawn to the intersection of law and the built environment that would come to define her career.
After earning her B.A. from Brooklyn College and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Alexia built her practice in the offices where NYC zoning and land use work actually gets done. At the Law Offices of Marvin B. Mitzner, she cut her teeth on agency proceedings before the BSA, DCP, and Landmarks Preservation Commission. At Sheldon Lobel, P.C. — one of the city's preeminent land use firms — she managed over forty cases across all five boroughs, representing clients through ULURP, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and drafting the legal analyses that guide land use decisions.
As a Senior Associate at Goldman Harris LLC, she expanded into development rights transfers and public-private partnerships, applying the NYC Zoning Resolution, City Charter, Administrative Code, and Building and Fire Codes to move complex projects forward.
In 2026, Alexia founded The Land Law Firm to bring that depth of experience directly to the clients who need it — developers and property owners navigating the regulatory landscape of New York City. Whether it's a variance application, a multi-year ULURP proceeding, or a development rights transfer worth millions, she handles it with the same rigor and attention.
